❤ Tag - About Me...

So I thought I'd give this ago and share a few details about myself to let everyone get to know me a bit better, so here goes:

Are you named after anyone?
Nope, I was either going to be called Kelly Marie or Samantha Jane, and luckily I was called Kelly Marie!
When was the last time you cried?
I cant remember the last time I cried tbh, possibly over a film as I do love a good soppy movie.
Do you have children?
No, not just yet but hopefully in the future.
Do you use sarcasm a lot?
A lot tbh, but its all a bit of fun.
What's your favourite cereal?
Shreddies or Porridge, cant get enough of either. Porridge is the best in the winter with lots of sugar as it warms you up.
What's the first thing you notice about someone?
Their eyes and their style. A persons eyes can say a lot about a person, and I like to see what style they have so I can pick out things that I love.
What colour are your eyes?
My eyes are blue.
Scary movie or happy ending?
Both tbh, I love a good scary movie or a horror but I also love a happy ending or a comedy. I love a whole range of movies and like to watch anything at least once.
Favourite smells?
The smell of food, the smell of cakes, the smell of vanilla, the smell of new clothes, the smell of freshly cut grass and the smell of DKNY.
Summer or Winter?
Again I have to say both, as I love summer to be in the hot weather and go out and do more things but I also love cuddling up with a cuppa in my snuggies and chilling out in bed.
Computer or television?
Computer and TV!
What's the furthest you've been away from home?
America, Florida!
Do you have any special talents?
Not really.
Where were you born?
The Midlands, UK.
What are your hobbies?
Blogging, making pretty jewellery, doing gel nails, going to second-hand and vintage shops/markets, reading, writing, baking, crafts - lots!
Favourite movies?
I have way to many, from classics like Pretty Woman, to horrors like Saw and even comedies like Forgetting Sarah Marshall. I love so many films I couldn't possibly name them all.

I hope that has given you a better in sight in to me!!

❤ Elizabeth Arden Lipstick...

The Elizabeth Arden Lipstick is a high end product that to be honest I don't normally use, but I decided to give it a go and see how good it is.
On the first application of EA lipstick, it did feel quite dry and it took a while to deposit the colour onto my lips. But after that, it became much smoother and easier to apply and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how gorgeous the colour actually was.

It turned out to be everything you could want in a lipstick:
- Bright
- Matte
- Full Coverage
- Long Lasting
- Satiny
It has brilliant staying power which means you can go ahead with everyday task and not worry about having to keep re-applying your lipstick. The colours are sensational, they offer such a range that you can always find a colour to suit you. The packaging is very simple but to be honest very elegant.
I would definitely recommend Elizabeth Arden lipsticks and would recommend you head down to your local beauty counters and find EA products.

❤ Rimmel Lipstick...

I love lipstick and I'll try any range as I love to match different colours with different outfits. I personally think that lipstick adds the finishing touch to any outfit as you can really make an outfit with a touch of lippy. You can either have a bold bright look or a more natural chilled out look.
This lipstick is a Rimmel lipstick that I've had quite a while and only just started using again! Its a gorgeous natural colour that goes really well with your casual everyday look. Its also got a gorgeous shine to it that brings attention to your lips.

As you can see I've nearly used the lot I love it that much!
Its a gorgeous colour and blends really well with foundation or tinted moisturiser. I would definitely buy a Rimmel lipstick again as it gives you a great look throughout the day and they offer so many different shades of lipstick you can match every outfit!
Unlike some lipsticks, this Rimmel lipstick does give you flaky lips or lumps its just gives you a nice smooth shiny look, and i LOVE it!
Getting matching your lippys to your favourite outfits!!!

❤ Nivea Tinted Moisturising Day Cream...

Nivea Tinted Moisturising Day Cream is a product that I use all the time! Its the perfect base for your foundation and adds a healthy glow to your skin.
I personally use this as I have occasional spells of dry skin on my face which means that I find it very difficult to get a foundation that looks great on my skin. This is my solution, as it moisturises my skin as well as covering blemishes.
Unlike some foundations or moisturising creams this doesn't have a horrible smell, so its a product that I'm happy to use. I also love this product as it doesn't look like your wearing foundation but makes your skin feel soft and smooth. It also lasts quite a long time as your don't need to use a lot in order to cover your face and it spreads quite evenly.

I have quite fair skin so this moisturising cream is very useful as the colours are not as dark as most foundations. They offer a range of colours to suit people's needs.
You can get Nivea Tinted Moisturising Day Cream from your local Superdrug stores or even online for £3.65!! That is a complete bargain, considering most foundations are around the £5 mark. I would 100% recommend this tinted moisturising cream so get buying!!

Over the next few weeks leading up to Christmas I'm going to do gift lists for a range of different people:

Hopefully these lists will be useful to you, and help you find gifts for everyone. This post is all about gifts for her, and I've chosen to do this one on gifts for women from John Lewis. There are a range of gifts for everyone on the John Lewis website, so I'd highly recommend you having a look.

(from left to right and top to bottom; Hoss Intropia Chiffon Sequin Collar Jumper £177, Michael Kors MK5166 Women's Crystal Round Gold Bracelet Watch £229, Aroma Home Owl Shaped Microwavable Hottie £, Heathcote & Ivory Vintage Rose Birdcage Gift Set £22)

I love all of these gifts and think they'd be perfect for a range of people such as your; wife, girlfriend, mother, sister or even friend. The birdcage is one of my favourites as you could use the cage again afterwards. The chiffon top with sequined collar is also a great gift as its very fashionable and the perfect gift for a women that loves fashion and glitter!

Happy shopping!

❤ Party Dresses...

As Christmas is coming closer, work do's and parties beginning to start so I've put together a few of my fave party dresses which would look gorgeous this year for those special occasions. There are many different dresses out there this year to for fill the needs of everyone, which means there is no excuse not to look amazing this year.

Each of these dresses are unique in there own way and offer something completely different.
Dress number 1 is an elegant yet not too fancy dress which has a beautiful studded chest to add a glitzy style to it. It has a raised hem at the bottom of the dress which would look gorgeous with some killer heels.
Dress number 2 adds a bit of colour to the mix and is a classic Lipsy dress. I love blue dresses at the moment as they bring something different and they aren't as dull as normal colours. Now, although this dress doesn't have a lot of detail on it, it does have some elegant lace at the waist and neck of the dress which gives the dress style.
Dress number 3 is sticking to the popular peplum dresses but with a slight twist. This dress by Jessica Wright is simple but fashionable and adds a classy look with the slim gold belt round the waist.
Dress number 4 is my favourite dress as I think its really sophisticated. The ruffle feather look at the bottom of the dress adds character to it. The band around the waist adds a feminine edge to it as it brings attention to the waist.
I love all 4 of these dresses and would recommend them to anyone they are gorgeous and the perfect look for Christmas parties.

❤ Christmas Is Coming...

So Christmas is coming, the TV is full of adverts and it wont be long before the Coco Cola advert makes an appearance! The shops are full of Christmas decorations and the gifts are filling the shelves of most stores! It must only mean one thing, its time to actually start Christmas shopping.

I love Christmas! Decorating the Christmas tree, looking at all the decorations in all the shops, and even shopping for other people's gifts! I even love it when it snows as it always makes it feel really Christmasy! A real life Winter Wonderland! The only thing I don't necessarily like is how cold it gets! But there is always a solution to that, and that is buying loads of knitted goodies and new coats!

So one thing I love about Christmas is the decorations! There are so many gorgeous decorations around that look amazing and this year is no exception! There are decorations for everyone from normal baubles to more extreme ones! From tinsel to bows and ribbons.
Here are a few of my faves this year:

Leopard Print Baubles £8 - Next
Teal Butterfly Baubles £8 - Next

Next have quite a range of colour this year and have brought some unique twists to Christmas! The leopard print baubles, I think, are brilliant they are very different and I have never seen any animal print baubles before. I love leopard print anyway so these are definitely a must have for me. I think they would look great with golds and natural colours and really give a nice homey feeling to Christmas.

The teal butterfly set is also very unique as each bauble is very different to the next and the colours are very calming and relaxing. Teal has become quite popular over the years and I think these baubles will continue that trend.

Jewel Snowflake Glass Bauble £1.50 - John Lewis

Black on Black Glitter Stripe Glass Bauble £2 - John Lewis

John Lewis also have a great range of Christmas decorations, these are two of my favorites. The white snowflake baubles are gorgeous, they have an elegant, sophisticated look about them and they look very modern. The little jewels on the sides help emphasize the outline of the snowflake and for £1.50 you can't really moan as its a brilliant bargain!
The black on black glitter stripe bauble is also very beautiful and elegant. The glitter gives it that Christmasy look and with a white tree this would look lovely! The shine from the under layer really brings out that glitter.

So there are a few of my favorite Christmas decorations, enjoy!
